1960s Black Arborescent Curtain Fabric
This lovely fabric has a tight twill weave and a light polished face giving it a soft sheen not a high gloss like chintz. The fabric is a light curtain weight, 100% cotton and the design is based around a large tree branch with rather large flowers - copying a traditional Indian design. The background is very dark gray/charcoal almost black and the flowers are in white, soft gray, darker gray and pale mocha brown. This fabirc comes from about the 1960s - 1970s and while it's curtain fabric the weight is perfect for a skirt also, or bag, cushion or tablecloth etc.
