1950s Green Leaf Textured Cotton Fabric

This superb print from mid century is from a used curtain. The overall colour is green but the background is a pale gray and there are also pink blossoms and gold metallic ink. It's all beautifully faded giving it a sueded look. The cotton is nice and strong still and the weave has a fancy lightly texture. The fabric has hems down the sides and is for sale by the quarter yard/metre. Each 'quarter' has one full pattern repeat ie: large cluster of leaves as seen in these photos.
