I just added these three beauties to the store. The first is a Grafton mocha brown and cream rayon crepe, it's amazing. The spashy floral from the 1950s is unusually light cotton and the wonderful large pucker seersucker with the briliant tropical print - super orange and cream. All fun to work with and special pieces. Have a great weekend!

I've changed the store around a bit so that fabric is way easier to find. I sorted it all out by year from the top of the page down to the bottom starting at about 1910-20 which is my oldest piece of fabric. Every category will sort in the same way. My goal is to get you to the fabric as fast as possible by eliminating any unnecessary pages, no title pages, no info pages that you don't need to see before you feast your eyes.

I know. I just find it so time consuming to add photos to this blog, they take an age to upload. Maybe I need to get rid of my idea that every blog post needs photos? Maybe I can just tell you how I've spent a very hot day indoors loading more than 20 new fabrics to the website. Some are too special to actually use so just go look at the photos. cheers e

Dear fabric lover, please excuse my recent lack of new fabrics additions to the store. I'm attempting to redeem myself with these fabulous pieces! And more coming later today.

I've not been completely off with the fairies though. Last week I made a small but significant change to the way sizes are displayed on the website. Now for my international customers and some of you more mature sewers, sizes are in both metric and imperial. So there is no need for all that tiresome mental calculation to see if you are purchasing enough fabric. Happy sewing!!
